The Town Hall Square with the old bus waiting outside the Library and Museum, waiting to go to Wick. Thurso folk having a good old blether outside Charles Angus the butcher's and very interested in the photographer! In the distance the old High Street with its shops below and houses above. The name Highland can just be made out above the door of one of them. This was the original premises of the local Courier which was printed here and run by the Docherty family.
